Kazetsuyo Winter Breeze
2023 January 15–21
Would you like to see what the Kansei team members did in the winter besides preparing for and running in the Ekiden? What fortune did Musa get at their shrine visit? Did he check everyone else's romantic fortunes? Was Shindou able to visit his family for the holidays before the race? How many snowball fights did the twins start only to lose to Yuki? Did Haiji make everyone hot chocolate or take the team to a Christmas market? If you want to see our faves' rosy cold-kissed cheeks, their best winter outfits, or any other winter memories, join us for Kazetsuyo Winter Breeze, a fanweek dedicated to exploring all the fun our favorite running boys (and girls and dogs) can have in the chilly winter months!Anyone can join in – the point is to have fun and love our boys. All fanworks are welcome: art, fics, mixtapes, moodboards, and whatever else you might want to share! To participate, just use the hashtag #kazewinter between January 15 and 21!For any news and updates, follow us on Twitter, where we will also retweet works during the event!

FAQ
Do I have to participate each day?
Not at all! It’s okay to do just one day or do them all. No pressure, yes fun!Do I have to make the piece the day of the prompt?
Of course not! Works can be prepared in advance and posted anytime between January 15 and 21. It’s not cheating; it’s wise time management! We chose to advertise the week well in advance so that everyone can schedule themselves as they see fit.Can I post/repost old works?
Yes! Any work fitting under the theme of winter is welcome, whether old or new. You can make new posts for older works or just quote retweet your already existing posts with #kazewinter. Are late works okay?
Absolutely! Late works just mean we can enjoy the event longer. We will also continue to retweet works after the official event period has ended. Are shippy pieces okay?
Yes! All ships are welcome! Just make sure to mention or tag the ship name somewhere in the post in case someone wants to filter it.Are characters outside of Kansei okay?
Absolutely! Any character from Kazetsuyo – including the novel, manga, and stageplay versions – is welcome, no matter what team they belong to or how small their role. Are NSFW fanworks allowed?
Yes! NSFW works are welcome during the week, but for the comfort and safety of everyone, we kindly ask that any such works are hidden either with Twitter's sensitive post feature, or put behind a link (such as AO3, Pixiv, Privatter, or Poipiku) and only SFW previews are used. Similarly, any explicit written works should have their ratings posted and use SFW snippets in their promos. Please also note that we will only retweet NSFW works if the account that posted them has an age indicator that says they're an adult. Is the event limited to canon?
Not at all! Both canon and AU pieces are very welcome! It's entirely up to you!
